There are lots of good web sites to link to that churchfolk might be interested in. You might want to check out some of the ones listed below if you haven't already. These are in addition to the sites that link to the organizations we belong to that are listed on the Affiliations page. Each of the sites listed below opens into a seperate window so you can just exit that site to return to our site.

The National Council of Churches has lots of good stuff at faithfulamerica.org. Beliefnet is one of the older and more established religious sites on the web.

Whether you read their magazines or not, Sojourners/The Call to Renewal  and The Christian Century  are sites you will appreciate.

For a good listen, either live are archived shows that can be downloaded or streamed to your computer or downloaded to your mp3 player, check out Krista Tippet's Speaking of Faith, The State of Belief  hosted by  the Rev. Welton Gaddy, Director of the Interfaith Alliance, or The Time Is Now  hosted by the Rev. James Forbes, Pastor of Riverside Church in New York City. Both Welton Gaddy and Jim Forbes are members of the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America.

There is important alternative news at Truthout.org  and Democracy  Now.  Then there is the really alternative news at The Onion.

For about every Bible translation you can think of go to Biblegateway.com. About the only translation you can't find there is the NRSV, but you can find it Oremus.org. If you are called on to preach or would like to do some Bible Study on your own, there are a ton of lectionary based resources at Textweek.com.

Two of the ministries we support at PCC are the Heifer Project and the CROP Walk. They have great web sites.
